Title: 2nd Shift ECM Machine Operator
Description: The operator’s main responsibility is to point, trim to length, slot and notch stylets and tubes to required dimensions and geometries found on the drawing.
Essential Job Duties include:
•Prepares cutting machine for operation
•Follow product handling procedures within procedural guidelines
•Record measurement requirements and tolerances
•Measure parts at beginning, middle and end of run (or as necessary)
•Use inspection microscope to verify workmanship of product
•Monitor output to insure that standard run rates are achieved
•Alert floor technician, work leader or supervisor of any problems with machine and/or quality of product produced
•Complete all associated documentation required (work travelers, output logs, etc.)
•Review and understand daily work schedule
•Understand importance and follow safety policies and procedures
•Communicates pertinent pass down information to the group-leader, supervisor and/or next shift operator
•Ability to stand throughout eight hour shift
•Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
•Performs other duties as required
